Greeting: To JOSEPH TAYLOR, defendant. You -.are hereby. required
to appear in an action brought— against
yeu in the Superior Court of the County of
Nevada, State of California, on the tenth
day of March 1884,,by CENTRAL PACIFIC RAILROAD -COMPANY, plaintiff, and to answer the complaint. filed
. . therein,within ten days (exclusive of the
day of service) after the service on
you of this Summons, if served within this
county ; or, if served out of this count;
within thirty days, or judgment will be taken
against you by default, according to the:
prayer of said complaint. The said action
‘. is brought to obtain a judgment that there
‘. is due from said defendant, Joseph Taylor,
to vlalntiff and by virtue of a certain contract fully set forth_in said-complaint, the
sum of $704.00 for the remainder of purchase
money designated in said contract, and interest on said remainder of purchase money
from the 14th day of October, 1871, to the
14th day of October 1883. Thatsaid defendant, Joseph Taylor, performed said agreement; and pay to plaintiff within thirty
days fron the date of the entry of the decree
herein, the amounts due to plaintiff upon
said agreement. Thatin case the said defendant, Joseph Tayler, fails to pay te plaintiff the sgid amounts within said thirty days
then and from that time, the defendant
Joseph Taylor, and sll-persons holding the
following tract of land and premises situate
in the County. of Nevada, State of California, and described in said contract, to wit:
And known and designated on the public
“surveys of the United States as the South
West A eet of Sec. No. 29 in Tp. 15, N.R,
9E., M.D. B. & M., containing 160 acres
under, by or through the said defendant be
forever barred and foreclosed of al’ claims,
right or interest in said Land and ,remises,
under arfd by virtue of said agreement, and
be forever barred and foreclosed of all right
to aconveyance thereof, and that the plaintiff be let. into possession of said premises
and that said contract be declared null and ©
void, thatthe plaintiff have such other or
further reliefas the Court may seem justand
equitable, and that plaintiff recover its costs
of suit, ag will more fully appear by reference to said complaint, and to which refer.
ence is hereby made.
And youare hereby notified that if you
fail to appear and answer the said complaint
as above required, the said plaintiff will apply to the Court for the relief therein demanded, j
