Umbrella Lost,
On Thursday night our umbrella
was taken by mistake, we presume,
from the bunch—in-—the gentlemen’scoat room atthe skating rink. It is
a large and expensive umbrella, of
fine material, with steel ribs and
braces, and has a nicely finished
horn handle, If the finder will return the umbrella to this office, we
will agree to fubiy reward him for
his trouble. We shall need that umbrella season.

’ Dispased Digestion.
If chronic indigestion affected the stom!
ach only it might be more easily borne; but
it gives rise, inevitably, to many other dis--eases affecting the liver, the nerves, the bow‘els and the brain. Biliousness, nervous
tremors, constipation, headache and terrible
mental disturbances are among its usual
accompaniments, In fact; every-organ, every fibre of the frame sympathises With the
debilitated and diseased stomach, What is
neededin suchacase? Clearly an alterative
and invigorant: and among medicines of
that class Hostetter’s Stomach Bitters is, beyond all comparison or estimate, the best.
Mere purgatives only deprive the system of
the little strength that disease has left it.
Salivants have-the same effect. The whole
internal organism has gone wrong, and can
only be put right and kept Jright by a medicine in which the tonic and stimulating elemnents are predominaht, but are qualified
and modified by anti-bilious aperients and
blood purifying components. Now, the
truth is {and the faet,} that Hostetter’s Bitters contain every ingredient—requisite for
the cure of dyspepsia and all the ailments
of body and mind which it involves. This
has been proved in so many thousands of
instances that it seems almost idle to repeat
the statement.
The great tonic rallies exhausted nature
from whatever cause enfeebled, and perma,
nently recruits the vigor of the nerves, the
muscles and the brain; Its effect upon the
brain is to give strength to the will and precision to the judgment, and to banish despondency. and that infirmity of purpose
which generally accompanies bodily weakness.
SPECIAL: NOTICE. — Indigestion is the
cause of nine-tenths of all diseases the living machine is subjectto ! Give'tone tothe
stomach and digestive organs, and you will
save more than half in your doctor’s bills:
Dx. HENLEY’s CELEBRATED IXL Brrréins are
recommended by all physicians to Dyspeptics and for all Complaints of the Liver and
Digestive organs. Mt"See advertisement in
