Yesterday morning men were put to work by the jasurance co:upany promptly to repair all damage. 3 Gane Hill. Mining prospects at Relief Hil]. are most encouraging. The Hagle, Union, Eureka, Welch and Great Eastern Company 18 sluicing and preparing for drifting. The Bagle Company have theit.,annele late gond gravel and will commence drifting for pay next week. The Welch Company is sluicing now after one clean up which yielded hand~ somely. The Great Eastern has found gold at the end of the tunnel and is preparing to drift.
