Know all mon by these presents: That we, the undersigned, have this day voluntarily associated ourselves together for the purpose of forming a corporation under Title XII, Article 1 of the "General Nonprofit Corporation Law” of the State of California, And we hereby certify: ARTICIE£ I. That the name of the corporation shall be GRASS VALLEY BRAVES BASEBALL CLUB, INC. ARTICLE II. That the purposes for which this corporation is formed are as follows: 1. To organize and be the official sponsor of one or more baseball teams and to stimulate interest in the sport of baseball and recreation generally; to sanction and promote local and regional competition with other baseball clubs, and to participate as a member in leagues composed of baseball clubs in the Northern California area. 2. fo cultivate social intercourse among its members and develop the spirit of sportsmanship amine its members and gonerally. 3. To lease, purchase, hold, have, use and take possession of and enjoy in fee simple or otherwise any personal or real property necessary for the uses and purposes of the corporation, and to sell, lease, deed in trust, alien.
