Another clean-up of ore from the Centennial mine was.made at the Orleans mill, on Thursday last, of 61 loads, which yielded $9,000 without including salphurets, which are rich. This is certainly a splendid yield, and shows, as one of the stockholders remarked, that the Centennial ‘‘is the best little prospect in Nevada county.” The ledge is quite narrow, but continues very rich, and will give more crusbings of the same kind, as. the rock isin sight todo it with. It is the belief of John ‘Lrenberth, the Saperintendent,. that the ledge wili—increase in size as greater depth is attained, and that the mine will become regular and reliable in -its yield.
