All the candidates on the different

‘How a man feels when he is
spewed out of ‘the mouth of all parties, is said to be understood by
some in this State about this time.
Fryer’s process will be ia operation some time soon. The works to
be used have been rushed ahead as. -~
“rapidly as possible. It must be remembered the system is not an. old
one, and eld machinery will not
work.. New patterns had-to be made
and everything was new. The suc~ cess of the thing will soon be demonstrated.

Boy Ordinance.
A communication will be found in
another place, relating to the necessity of a city ordinance, compelling
boys under a certain age to be at
home after 8 o’clock Pp. M. There
certainly can be no hardship in such
@ requirement, for it seems to us
parents who have alty regard for the
welfare of their children would not
' bein the least affected by such an
ordinance. Those who think it advisable toallow young boysto roam
the streets until midnight, ovght to
be compelled to change their opinions. Wethink the boy ordinance

Grand, Rally To-night.
_ Hon. T. G. Phelps wilt address
the people of this place at the stand
on Broad street, this evening. There
should be a large turn out to listen
to him. His speeches are said to be
good by all the papers in the State
where he has spoken. He treats of .
political economy and shows what
reforms are necessary to reduce taxation in our State. Let all turn out
and listen.
