o9 LLEy, "that he 3, Misses, ps for Paris, > largest, le in NeAMER. d altered No. 46 agt AW, taurant. al2 ¢ Books, sic. y Line, ! rent, me tO. NCE. TAL §T b tok, 7 De bad4 Deval Daily. Seams LOCAL APRPAINS.— —Tae Evcuisn pea ASE, expected from the gratification expressed’ by the fine audience of our moet fashionable and intelligent ladies and gentlemen present on. Monday night, a lwrger house Tuesday night, nor were we disuppointed. The array of beauty and fashion before the curtain rose. was refreshing, and speaks well for our Nevada ladies. Tuesday night the Bohemi. dn Girl was presented: in ‘the wost unex ceptjonable style. If permitted to distinguish where all was eo well done, we think the impersonation of Arline, by Mies Emma Howsen, was graceful and artistic, aad her rendering of the melodies “I dieampt I dwelt in Marble Hatis," “See at your feet ‘a suppliant one” were received with great™ applause. Mr. Herberti, as Thadeus, hada fine opportunity, which he improved to the utmust, to display his really fine tenor voice. His songs, “ "Tis sad to. leave our Fatherland” aad. “The fair Land of Poland,” were gems of vocaligation, as the Count: Mies Clelia as the Gypsey Queen, and Mr. Leach as Dévil’s Hoof, were perfurmed in fine voice; “and acted well. The Chorus and Orchestra were splendid, and gave anbounded satisfaction.. To-night. the “Night’ Dancers” will be produced. If the people of Nevada éity appreciate and desire first-class amusements, they should so, encourage this. troupe as to offer inducements to others. All we have to do to get the very best talent thatcomes to the coast, is to sustain them when they come to our city. Three Openings have been made in the Theatre building giving ample ventilation, and rendering the Theatre so comfortable that the performance can be witnessed without inconvenience. ’ ARRESTED FoR Highway Roppery— ‘Charles O'Neal alias Campbell, was brotght to the county jailof this county, a few days since, upon the sharge of highway robbery.
