about one year ago, and was then suflering from
an old case of Gléet, complicated with stricture, :
Being a stranger ia this city, and belicving those
doctors who give such positive assurances of
success were necessarily the best (some of whom
have a large number of titles,) I placed myself in
their charge and continued under their treatment
until 1 had lost nearlyall hope and a considera
ble sum or money. I wish to say now tiiat you are
thesixth Doctor I haveemployed. and the only
one that has ever done me any service. M y Gleet

my generel health is better than it has been for

A desire to benefit humanity, aud a feeling of

“have been afflicted with that feartul diseasé
known as *Spermaterrboea,” or seminal weak
neas, the result of sclf-abuse, but till 1655 experienced bat little trouble or inconvenience in that

weakening extent, which was svon followed by
