4% Election will be held on. Wedmesday
the Second day ef September next,
throughout Neva‘ta county at which the following officers.are to be elected, and *sAnAct to
provide bonds for-eompleting the Deaf, Dumb
and bliad Asylam,’’ aporovedl April 27th, 1863,
is to be submitted to the qualified electors of the
state for ratification :

**An Act to provide bonds for completing the
Deaf, Dumb and Blind Asylum” approved April
27th, 1863, will be submitted to the qualified
‘electors Of the state for ratification, in accordance with section 12o0f said Act, at sail General
Election to be held on Wednesday, the 2ud of
September next ; those voting for the same shall
have written or printed on their ballots for
#tate officers, the words, *‘For Asylum Building
Act” —and these voting against the same shall
have written or printed. on their ballots the
words. *-Against Asylum Building Act.” *
See. 20 ofthe statute relative to. Elections as
amended, vile statutes 1863, page 746 reads as

See. 29. Lf such person shall insist that-he is
entitled to vofe, ard the challenge shall not be
withdrawn, he shali not be entitied to vote une
fess. he take the following oath, to be administered by the lispector or one of the Judges, viz:
‘-You do swear—or affirm as the case may be—
that yeu are a citizen of the United States. that
you are of the age of twenty-one years, acgordimg to the best of your knowledge and belief,
and that you have resided in this state six
months next preceding tis election, and that
you have not voted this day.” :
Upon taking which oath, he shall be. etftitled

for ab leabt sxx mouths by said Clerk; and i
any person be of the opinion that the vote o
any preeipct shall not have béen correct! ¥ counted, he m4y appear on the day appointed for the
Beard of Supervisoas to open the returns. and
demand a recount of the vote of sald precinct,
and the Board. of surervisors shall proceed to
recount the vote of the precinct that is so claimed to have been incorreetly counted.
