Doyle, near Sierra City, were destroyed by fire, under such circumstancés as to leave little doatt that the fires were the work of incendiaries. The two mills were situated several miles apart, and~yet were fired about the same hour, indicating that more than one person was engaged in the affair. There was a beavy insurance ou the property destroyed, and the agents of the insurance companies have siuee been endeavoring to trace out the incendiaries.
