An Alleged Find,
The Marysville Appeal is told
that some Chinamen who bought
a gravel claim near Howland Flat,
Sierracounty, for $300, lust week
found a &pecimen containing $34,128 in gold. That discuunts the
yarn about some Mongolians unearthing a $26,000 specimen at
Dutch Flat, and it looks like a
twin. exaggeration. The Appeal
accepts it as trath, but that paper
would believe anything it was
told about the mining business.
