the expenditure of this huge sum of
money, It would hire a tug-boat

shall have another lot of resolutions
to the effect that this large expen.liture has developed the fac: that. the
Government engineers have, for the
past thirty years or more, been telling untruths, and that our glorious
Bay is filled solid, and that there is
no water on the Bar at all, and that
it is all caused by the horrid miners,
There is no telling what a frightful
state of facts the expenditure of this
five hundred dollars will disclose.
We await the result with impatience. The acts*and doings of these
‘anti-miners’ are, bowever all about
ona par with this noisensical and
