But coming from the source it did we were induced te make an investigation, “Chestnut trees will easily live after trausplanting.\ Exs ai vin. Grass Valley the operation of transplanting. John Rogers, the well known engineer, of the town, has some growing chegtnut trees, one of which has been transplanted no less than three times. Gale Compton, of this office ‘has two of those trees.thatwere _ shipped actoss ‘the Continent, and made a slow trip, and yet are growing..
