Suprise PartyLast Saturday evening the Methodist
Church choir and friends vieited the home
of R. C. McCutchan, near Charonnat’s
Hill, to surprise Mr. and Mrs. A. Gray ‘nee
Bertha McCutchan) and Mr. and Mrs.
Rogers, (nee Emma McCutchan) who are
here visiting their parents. Mrs. Gray was
a member of the choir for several years.
The party arrived at Mr. McCutchan’s at
8:30 o'clock. Befere entering the house
the choir serenaded the family, singing being the first intimation of the presence of
the gay crowd. It wasa genuine surprise.
The party was invited inside, and after congratulations on the success as & surprise,
