\ NEVADA CITY, CALIFORNIA, LOCAL INTELLIGENCE. A CHINESE Row. Quite ‘a lively row occurred in Chinatown yesterday morning, and the Celestials gabbled over it like a flock of frightened turkeys. Deputy Sheriff Potter was itformed that a woman had been stabbed and went to the reacnue. ‘He was ‘surrounded by a score of excited Celestials, some of whom demanded the arrest of the man and others the woman. They afterwards wanted to have both locked up, but Potter concluded as no ‘blood had. been shed it was not necessary to interfere. A‘ SpLexpip Stock. —W. C.
