LOCAL INTELLIGENCE. — Smaun Pox.—We ‘learn frou the Grass Valley Union that a man. sick . . with small pox came to that place, put up at a hotel, sleeping with another whan, and went around to different places. Falling-sick the next day he called on a physician and was made aware for the first time that he had small pox. It frequently happens that persons have this disease for several days days before they are aware of it, and on this account extraordinary care should be taken.
