Horrible’ Diseases,
How many thonsands of persons, both male

miserable existence from the effect secret
indulgences, or from virus absorbed into the
system! Look at their pallid, emaciated and
disfigured faces and their-broken down constitutions, disqualifying them ee happiness
of marri ot the enjoyment of life. In this
horrid situation thousands suffer until death
closes the scene. Let ents, guardians,
friends, attend to any of thdse who are sufferwith any of these horrible life destroying maladies—see that they are cared for and cur
before it be too late. Send them immediately
to Dector Gibbon, a physician who-has made
private disease his especial study fe rs,
aud who is certain-to care the-most invepferate
cases without mercary or any injurious drugs.
Tt is important to those who are afflicted, or
to those who are interested .1n the welfare of
their friends, to be careful of the many pretended doctors who nfest all cities, publishing their skill in curing all diseases in a few
days, impésing upon the public by using the
feminent physicians from Europe and
other places. Be therefore careful an make
_etrict ingr’“~ or you miay fall into the hands
of these char..ans. :
Seminal Weakness. ‘
Seminal Emissions, the consequence of elf
abuse. This solitary vice, or depraved sexual
indulgence, is-practiced by the youth of both
sexes to-an almost unlimited extent, produc. 4ng with unerring certainty, the fo owns
. train of morbid 1 eo gana unless combatte
hy scientific medical measures, viz: Sallow
countenance, dark spots under the eyes, pain
in the head. ringing in the ears, noise like the
rustling of leaves and rattling of chariots, wneasiness about the loins, weakness of the
limbs, confased yision, blunted intellect, loss
of confidence, diffidence in approaching strangers, a dislike to form néw acqtaintances, a
disposition to shun society, loss of memory,
hectic flushes, pimples-and various eruptions
abont the face, furred tongue, feted breath,
coughs, consumption, pig sweats, monorannia and frequent insanity. If relief be not
obtained. persons so afflicted should apply #mniediately, either in person or by letter, and
have a cure effected by his new and scientific
mode of treating -this disease, whicb never
fails of effecting.a quick and radicalcure. Dr.
G. will give One Hundred Dollars toany one
who will prove satisfactortly to him that he
was cared: ofthis complaint by either of the
San Francisco quacks,©.
Married Vien,
Or those whe contemplate marriage, who
are suffering under any of these fear‘ul maladies, should not forget the sacred responsibilities resting upon them nor-delay to obtain:
immediate relief.

sending for packages of medicines, may rely
upon his assurances of confidential secrecy
_ With implicit faith, and expect no. more than
to be charged with a fair and mutually satis.
factory remuneration for services rendered,
considering the circumstances and difficulties
of cases, rather than a too prevalent and selfish practice of extortion among quacks and
