NORDINANCE FOR THE PLANKing of Broad street. i
The City Board of Trustees do ordain as
follows, and establish that it is necessary
for the public convenienceand weitfare that
Broad Street, in front: of the respective
lots heresfter tsmed be pianked in the
following manner:

be laid down as follows: Fourteen feet
long, four inches thick laid upon stringers
or sills 4inches by 6 inches wide; the
stringers or sills to be four feet apart
from centers and well bedded in the eartb,
. the spaces between the sills to. be filled,
with gravel and level with the surface of
