we ms rs , ee & ¢ & he Daily { _ by parties directly interested in the establishment and who know how to take _ Broad street. This place. is in a good NEVADA CITY, CALIFORNIA. “Locks, INTELLIGENCE, — DEDICATION uF THE. New ScHoo. Hovseé.—The new sebool building will be dedicated on the 22d of February, and the Trustees propose to call it the Washington School Building. A number of public spirited ladies of Nevada . . propose to give a festival or party on the evening of the 22d, for the purpose of raising money to furnish the school rooms or be used as deemed best by the Trustees. We have no doubt that the liberal citizens of Nevada will turn out en masse on that occasion, and give the school a d benefit. The assembly room will be & splendid place for a dance, being larger than.any hall in the city’ and the large scheol rooms will make fine reception and supper rooms. The people of Nevada have reason to be very proud of their new school building. Reap, Reap.—Let everybody read Banner Bros. advertisement in. this morning’s paper. The Banner Bros-. ' keep the banner eoaphy team people know it, because of the! reputation for the excellence of t + stock and the reasonableness of their prices. They lave arrangements for trade in San Francisco and New York which ate unequalled by any other house in the mountains. Their goods are purchased advantage of the trade. “Competition is simply ridiculous with such a firm, and they are bound to do a big business. Simply because they undersell and outsell amy other clothing house in the city or county, They have the best selected. and most superior stock of clothing, rubber boots and coats, in. the city, and sell them 25 per cent. cheaper than any of their competitors. Give them'a call, — ° ty Board of Exaniination, consisting of E. M. Preston, Superintendent, M. B, . .
