A grandson named Russell Brown has been arrested and confessed that he and a friend murdered Mrs. Darris for the purpose of robbery. Much comment has been caused by the presence on the floor of the House of ex Governor Low and Frank Pixley of California, who, it is alleged, are lobbying in the interest of the Hawaiian sugar monoply.
