withdrew the ples of not guilty in
the County Court yesterday morning
and were ordered to appear for sentence on Tuesday morning at 10
o’clock, They’ robbed a Chinaman
_hear Grass Valley a short time since,
taking ten dollars in money, a plug
of tobacco and'a javk knife. A “Melican man’’ attempted to interfere,
and the Indians threatened to shoot
him. They were afterwards found
in a grave yard by the officer, one
asleep and the other standing guard.
They acknowledged the crime and
entered a plea of guilty, They were
drunk at the time of the robbéry.
