sung by Miss Ada Webb, is said to turn

pagne. In San Francisco everybody
sings or whistles the air; and 1t is even
said that merchants and bankers, when
adding up columns of figures, often
catch themselves humming the air of
“Champagne Charlie.”
GLENBROOK ParK.—The new hotel
building, erected by E. 8. Pratt, at
Glenbrook Park, is nearly completedThe grounds are being laid out and
trees planted. A new contract has been
