his. petition, schedule and invéntory ia insolvency, by which it appears that he isan

may be wy law exempt from execution,

Mary E. Mooney, Administratrix of the estate of Thomas Mooney, deceased, on the
16th day of Juve, 1884, recovered a judgment against Charles Kent for the
sum of One Thousand, Four Hundred and
Forty-three 75-100 ($1443.75) Dollars damages, (which judgment was duly assigned on
the 17th day of June, 1884 to M. Hanleyfand
£. Hothersall) with intérést atthe rate of 7
per cent per anaum till paid, together with plaintiff's costs of $21 60 and
disbursements at the date of said judgment
and accruing costs, amounting to the sum of
$2, as ap) to us of record, {. have levied
upon and taken into execution all the right,
title and interest which the defendant,Chas,
Kent, had, held, owned or possessed on the
16th day of June, A. D. 1884, the day on
which said judgment was docketed, or which
he may have subsequently acquired in and
to the herefriafter described property, situate, lying and being in the township of Neja, County of Nevada, State or California,
bounded and described-as fuliows, to wit;
That certain lot of land situate within the
corporate limits of said city, bounded on the
northerly side by Commercial street, on, the
westirly side by lot of Keeney,;.and designated on the “‘official map” ef Nevada City
4s surveyed by 4. 5S. Brad.ey in 1869 as lot
No, 81 in block No. 13, togetier with “the
tenements thereon and known as the ‘‘Keystone Market.” Also that certain lot of land
situate in Nevada City and bounded on the
southerly side by Broad street,on the easterly side by lot of Downing, on the northerly
side by a line indica by the southerly
-line of a flume which separates said lot from
lands of Keeney, and on the wenisriy side
by an all.y,to wit: The line indicated by the
easter y line of the alleyway leading from
vroad street to said lands of Keeney, and
designated on the said “‘official map” of said
Nevada City as lot No, 9 in block No, 13,
together with the tenemeits thereon. Also
that certain lot of land situate on the North
side of the Red Dog roaj, bounded.on the
west by Nevada City corporation line, and
being inthe northwest I-4 of southeast 1-4
of section No, 7, township No. 16 north,
range Se st, M. D, B, and-M,, and -contsining about thirty (30) acres, more or less, the
same’ being a portion of the land formerly
known as the Joshua Mulloy ranch, together
with the s'augiter house, barns, stables_and
sheds\erected thereon, and nowknowns
the ‘slaughter house lot” of Charles Kent.
Also that certain water right and water
ditch connected therewith, taking water
from a reservoir formerly owned by said
Joshua Mulloy, and conducting water
through said ditch to the said slaughter
house, on the above described land, being
about three-fourths of a milein length. The

9 in Block No. 13, and said slauzhter hguse
