the stockholders, which is the most

in that kind of mining,
The property owners residing in
North San Jtian, French Corral and
Sebastopol, will, in a few days, receive from the County Judge, John
Caldwell; Government titles to their
land. Next week the deeds will be
made out and: ready for delivery.
The people in that section have been
waiting dlong time for their deeds,
bat now as everything has been arranged, they will have no further
trouble about the matter.
Felix Gillet's garden is the most
attractive place-in'town. Everything
is in perfect order, in and about’ the
place. He has an‘ almost illimitable
variety of trees, shrubs and plants,
and many of them are already in
blossom. He has the choicest varieties of strawberry and other plants
for sale. As soon as the season for
trausplanting, owners of homesteads
should give him a ‘call.
. Several teams have been constantly
employed during the past week, in
hauling cobble stones from Oustomah Hill, in this city, to Grass Valley. They areused for-ornamepting the graves, at the old burying
ground in that town. The beautifal
‘white cobble stones could not be obtained at that place, therefore they
