Wednesdsy Morning’s Fire.
At about twenty minutes after one
o’clock Wednesday morning the
dwelling houre on High street oecupied by the family of John Hoskins who
hae been in the Territories for two
years or so past, was discovered to be
in flames. The fire department turned gut promptly and got «stream of
water on, but could do nothing more
than keep the fire from spreading to
= buildings in the neighborhood.
he structure was quickly reduced to
ashes. Mrs. Hoskins was spending
tbe night at Grass’ Valley, her two
daughters—the eldest being sixteen
years of age—remaining at home.
They escaped from the building in the
early stage of the fire. They said
they had no fire in the building since
early in the evening. It had started in
the basement. Within the, past two
weeks the most ofthe furniture had
been removed from thé house to the
house of Mr. Snell on Piety Hill.
-The house was a one story structure
with a basement, and was comparatively new. ‘There was an insurance
of $800 on ‘it, There was also an insurance on the furniture that had been
in the building. It is only about a
ear since a house on the same lot and
longing to the same patty, was
burned.

When the liver is indolent, aa it
‘must necesrarily be when it fails to
secrete the bile in sufficient quantities
to meet the requirements of digestion
and evacuation, it should be set at
work with Hostetter’s Stomach Bitters. The healthful stimulus to activity imparte@ by this incom parable
-alterative, speedily evinces itselfina
departure of the uncomfortable sensations in the right side; the nausea ; fur
upon th. ‘ongue; indigestion, and
rick, headache consequent upon
inactivity of the liver and the divers.0n of the bile from its proper chapnel, Irregularity of the bowels is
always and painlessly reformed
by the corrective indicated, which is
infinitely to be preferred, both because
it is safe and more efficacious, to blue

of every claxs. It cures and prevents
fever and ague, and rheumatism,
