fit occasion not only to award to true merit, anu
stamp with verity an article or articles worthy
of publie confidence and patronage, but .alsa to
put their seal of condemnation «upon villainous“
compounds, base imitations and worthless counterfeits, which resemble the genuine only in their
names Fhe Committee after careful_examination of the **Squarza Punches, Cordials and Bitters,” on exhibition, declare them to be composed of the best material, and that the same
was manufactured with science aud utmost care.
The Committee in the deliberation, had to rely
entirely onthe numbers on the bottles ; knowing nothing whatever of the authors of either
samples submitted to their examinatien, but
were tnanimousin the approbation of the one,

December, 1265, will be advertised on that day as
