suspension bridge to Spring street with
cobble stones and gravel. This is the
only road by which teams can get out of
Nevada, and it ought to be keptin good
order. The work now being done upon
it will. prevent it from becoming muddy.
SeLBy. Frat Scnvot.—The Selby
Flat Publi¢ School will commence on
Monday, February 17th, under charge’
of J.C. Leonard. This school has been
taught by Miss Hitchcock who was
compelled to give it up in, consequence
of ill health.
THEATRICAL.—The Webb Sisters are
expected to commence an engagement at
Grass Valley on the 15th inst. After a

THE BANNER MINE.—The new works.
