Death of Hrs. Irving Watson.
Sunday morning that Mrs. Irving
Watson died the previous uight at
Greenville, Plumas county. About
eleven months ago she was married
here to Mr. Wataon (also formerly
of this city) and went at ence to
Greenville where her husband is part
owner in a foundry. The early part
of last month a daughter was born
to the couple, and it still
lives. Mrs; Thoss of this city, mother to the deceased, was with her
during the most of her illness. C.

The residence of O. C. Bley on
Boulder street was burglarized Sunday night about ten o’clock while
the family were at their restaurant
‘on Pine street, Just before dark
that evening a neighbor saw a. era
set man with dark clothing and light
hat breaking in a. six-light ‘window
sash at the rear of the house, but
supposed the person to be Mr. Bley.
and that he had accidentally broken
the window. The man walked away
then, but returning later entered
through the window and completely
ransacked the premires, Trunks
were pried open, the drawers.of bureaus and the sewing machine emp-tigl of their contents, a wardrobe
was turned upside down, and the
stovepipe was even pulled out of
place in the search. From the trank’
of Mrs, Noyes, who occupies a room
in the house, a silver watch and
chain and about fifteen dollars in
money were taken, and from Mr.
Bley’s trunk was stolen a lot of silverware including knives, forks, teaspoous, : table-spoons and napkin.

woolen mill would pay well-here. It
