Thursday afternoon about 4 o'clock,
I was called anlerground and told
that Bradfurd Wentworth had been
caved on. I went down and found
H. Maller digging away dirt and:

shoulders out of sight, covered up
with dirt and timbers, and a pole
about six inches in diameter . resting
on both his legs, He said the pole
was breaking his leg. We got him
out as soon as possible and did all
we could to relieve him. We got
