of the Public Ledger, Philadelphia, for
gratuitous circulation among the 72,000 subscribers to his paper. It isa

Canal Co’s. rain guage, for the fortyeight liours, ending yesterday morning
at 9 o’clock, shows a rain fall of 1.38
