Masonic HaLt.—The three stores which
form the lower portion of this building, are
now about completed, and will be ready for . oceupaney in a few days. The walls areJ
being tarred as a preserver of the bricks
during the rainy seasun, after whieh: it wil
of the Masonic fraternity, is now under the
immediate supervision of Messrs. Brown &
Palmer, and the wood work is receiving the . ¥
most Careful atteution at their hands. In

spots havé been worked and the cream extracted from ‘them, but youd wages can be
made, both in quartz.and gravel, in most any
portion of Nevada county, and it only needs
the dilligent application of the pick and
shovel to verify our statements.
