THE UNION CLUB.—Lat us again urge upon every loyal man the importance of connecting him____. self with the Lincoln and Johnson Club which
has been organized in thiscity. The time of the
Presidential fight ig fast approaching and the enemies of the Union should be overwhelmingly
defeated. In order to do thisffectually Union (

from thé old, substantial members of the Union
party. Let the “Old Guard” come to the rescue.

is ancble work to sustain the Army and Administration in the hour of darkness, and mep who
profess to entertain a love for the Union certainly can spare one night in seven in consulting
with leyal men for the accomplishment of the
great objects the subjugation of the Copperheads
in this State and the election of a President who
will subjugate the rebels in the South.
