Description and Remarks :
REVOLUTION is a dark brown, has a rich bla-ek flowing mane and
tail, stands 15 hands % inches high and weig hs 1050 pounds; has
plenty of bone and muscle; trotted in his 4-ye ar-old form, over the
San Joaquin Agricultural Society’s track, winning easily against a
strong field of horses. Seven heats were trotted in the race ; also winner of the free-for-all stallion race at Grass Valley,in September, 1883,
defeating Almont and Prompter handily. REVOLUTION is: one of
the grandest trotting sires on the Pacific coast, and_has-_shown_trials
in his work of 2:27. He is sure gaited, level headed, kind and gentle,
and is asure foal getter.

sire of St. Julian), he by Rydsyk’s Hambletonian,
