The form of organis zation heretofore found most effective ia answering these ende~is the open club, in which shall be enrolled and periodically ae« sembled ull of & common political faith, to be addressed by local speakers and visitors. These clubs are useful in tabing charge of general meetings, circulating notices and information, distributing tickets on the day of election, guarding the polls to pres vent frauds, furnishing a basis of calulation of our strength and that of our adversaries, and generally giving directions and efficiens cy to party movemevts. Lincola and Jobn~ son clubs should be organized in-every pre» Cinct of the county. In each club should be onrolled the name of every voter who wil; support the national ticket. Every~voter who is not known to be a copperhead hater of the Government, should be sought . out and induced to register bis name as one who will do his part at the ballot box -in putting down the rebels and their allies in the North.
