HE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, FINDing the county heavily involved, by the
advice of a convention of Tax-payers, held
at San Andreas, April 2d, 1871, resolved on
this measure rather than resort to repudiation, and will hold a GRAND MUSICAL
FESTIVAL, the proceeds of which will be
applied to the liquidation of the county
debt. 200,000 admission Tickets will be sold
at $2 50 each, gold coin, and the holders of
Tickets will be entitlcd to any premium
that may be awarded to it. During the Fcstival the magnificent sum of $250,000 in U.
