James M. Campbell for the foreclosure of a
certain thortgage, and the sale of the mortgaged premises to satisfy the sum found due
to’ the plaintiff for principal and interest, towit : the sum of Six Hundred and Seventy-two
dollars, with interest from the date of said
judgment at the rate of two per cent per
month til] paid, together with the costs and
expenses of sale, in obedience to which jndgment the said Sheriff sold the said mortgaged”
premises and applied the proceeds of sale as
therein directed and has made his return unto
said Court that there is deficiency of such proceeds of sale, and that there is still. due to the
laintiff the sum of One Hundred and EightyNine and 84-100 dollars, in U.S. gold coin, bearing interest at the rate of two per cent per

That certain dwelling house now occupied by
defendant as a residence, situate in the town
of Grass Valley, Nevada county, Cal.. on the
easterly side of Mill srteet, commencing at a
point on Mill street, adjoining Blacksmith
shop, running thence easterly sixty feet (more
or less) to lot of one James Neyins, thence at
right angles easterly to Wolf Creek, thence
down Wolf Creek to said Blacksmith chop lot,
thence westerly to point of beginning, together with all improvements and appurtenances
thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining.
