The Chief Engineer of the Fire Department has issued an order for ‘the firemen to meét at their respective houses on the evening of the3d of July, at 7 o’clock, p. m., also on the Fourth, at 9%; o'clock a.m. ‘The object 6f the turn out on the-¢vening of the third is for the pufpose of —acting~as~an escort + : —_—Sa the. receptiun. of Gov. In the Methodist and Congregstional Churches, on Sunday last, the preachers were handed an announceent of Phrenology Lectures’ to’ be delivered during the course of this week.
