A gentleman who came down from Forest City on Fridty last, informs us that the North Fork: Mine, at tbat place, continues to be immensely rich. On Thursday last he suw two candle boxes of quartz specimens brought from the mine‘to :the office of Wells, Fargo & Co. One piece was picked out of the box, in his presence, which weigtied over twenty ounces, and not a particle of quartz could be seen-in it.
