charged with assault with intent to
murder Henry Dorsey, was. yesterday
‘brought be.ore Judge Kendall for examination. The defendant waived examination and was committed to the
custody of the Sheriff to await the action of the next Grand Jury.
District Court.—Yesterday the District Court was engaged in the trial of
the cage of Sullivan against Lancaster.
After the testimony for the prosecution

the ground that the plaintiff had failed
to make outa case even were the evidence uncontradicted, and the Court ordered that a non. suit aie entered.
