We published an-~ article a few
‘days ago in regi ard to the SySpension Bridge, with the Kope of waking
up our citizens as to what should be
‘done to that structure. We heard
but little said about it until our second article appeared, and that has
brought one correspondent to the
surface,-and we-were in hopes others
would follow suit.. The Board of
Supervisors want to do that which
will be best fer the convenience vf
our citizens, The present bridge

at the State University. He delivered the 4th of July oration at Grass
Valley which was very highly spoken
of by all who heard it. His age was
