An Interesting Report feom the Horthemitural Comamilssion.
The Boar of Horticultural Commissionérs'of Nevada county yesterday.submitted the fol owing report

other plant-lice by its white appearancé, thé lower part of the abdomen
being coyered with very long down.
-It does not attack the blossoin, the
fruit, or the leaves, but fixes itsel!

also likes to lodge in the cracks of
the trunk and large branches. © Its
effect is to render the wood knotty,

the great scourge of the couutiearound the Bay of San Francisco,
