KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That we, the viusnirsts pi, have this day voluntarily assoc-~ iated ourselves together for the purpose of forming a corporation under the laws of the State of California; AND WE DO HEREBY CERTIFY: FIRST: That the name of said Corporation shall be "GRASS VALLEY-NEVADA CITY BROADCASTERS, INC." SECOND: That the purposes for which this corporation is formed are as follows: (a) To own, maintain and operate, in the State of California and elsewhere, radio-electric broadcasting stations for the purpose of transmission of audible and visual electric impulses, and, for such purposes, to enjoy and hold licenses therefor from the Federal Communications Commission, and other State and Federal authorities; to do and perform any and all acts and things necessary or convenient to be done and performed in vineiaaeton, Mane or incidental to the business.‘of radio broadcasting; to buy, sell, lease, demise, exchange, mortgage or otherwise acquire, and to hold, own, and operate radio broadcasting stations and transmitting apparatus in the State of California and elsewhere. (bv) To engage in the general business of publishing, printing and circulating one or more daily, weekly or monthly papers.
