Kent of Nevada, ap . pears as Senator. Charley Kent was nominated by acclamation. He has, in addition to his acquaintance in every part of the eounty, an extensive acquaintance and business rela. tions with other parts of the State. He is earnest and energetic in everything he undertakes, and has as big & heart under his vest as any man in the State. Charley is always ready to “give the pocr bugger a show,”’ and will look well to the interests of the people of the county and State. On the Assemby ticket, we have first, Henry Everett, of Bridgeport, & man of most excellent business qualifications, of extensive agg uaintance in the county, and worthy to represent any constituency in the State Legislature. Robert Bell, of Truckee, comes next on the list. Mr. Bell is a merchant at Truckee, a thoroughly competent man, who reseived the united indorsement of his . delegation, and is entirely worthy of . : . one of the new settlers on Dry Creek, . . He is a surveyor and civil engineer of exter tive experience, and thoroughly . qualified for the position for which he is nominated. He is well known in the county and will run well. John M. Bush, of Bloomfield, one . of the pioneers of the county, is the nominee for Public Administrator. Mr. Bush has an extensive acquaintance on the ridge, and is everywhere well thought of. He will make an honest and efficient officer. For Coroner Dr. Kibbe, of Grass Valley, has been seleeted. The Dr. is well known in that locality, and stends well in his profession. This . position which so often requires that . . the causes producing death should . be inquired into, ought to be filled . by a physician. . . ‘for at the October ele County-.Judge, Judge Caldwell has . many strong personal friends in Eureka township, his former residence, . and has made many such since his . residence here. He has served one . term1n the Legislature and one as . District Attorney, and in these positions, as well as in every relation of Lfe, his sustained an honorable . Mr. Days has already made a record as a legislator, which entitles him to thé confidence of the people, and he will go to Sacramento with all the udvantages that experience gives in the business of the House.
