Days, Schoool Census Marshal of Grasa Valley Distriet, there are, in that District, 352 boys and 354 girls, between the ages of 4 and 18 years, making a total of 706 children entitled to the benefit of the school fund. There are 338 under four years and 35 over 18 and under 21, making the total number of white persona under 21 years of age, 1,079. Of these, 185 attend the public schools and 230 private schoole. 171 between the ages of 6 and 18 attend no school. .
