A Case of Gleet and Stricture. Dr. Donernty—Dear Sir . I feel my health: s0 fully restored that. in common gratitude, I believe [should make yon some written acknowledgment for your valuable services— particularly zo as your fee was small for the work performed. 1 arrived in this city from the East about one year ago, and was then suffering from aneld case of Gleet, complicated with Stricture. The latter was so bad that. I feared an entire stoppage of urine. Being a stranger in this city, and believeing that those Doctors who gave such positive aseur¥5. ances of suecess were necessarily the best, I: placed myself in their charge. and centinued, under their treatment until I had lost nearly all hope and a considerable sum of money. wish to say now that you are the sixth doctor I have employed, and the only one that has ever done me any service. My Gleet is wholly cured, the Stricture is all removed, and my general health is better than it has been for years. In conclusion, I would say to the many unfortunates who require medical advice, ifyou have any doubt as to whom yon. may employ, ask Dr. DOHERTY for my address. and calland seeme. (I keep estore in thiscity.) My experience may save you many dollars. I would also add, that in the early stage of my disease, I used a large amount of the preparations advertised as an infallible cure for Gonorrohea, Gleet, etc., but never ' derived any benefit from them. : EB: -_ — June s, 1864. iii ied ubscribed and sworn to before me this of June, A. p. 1864. A. S. GOULD; Not. Pub. Seminal Weakmness—A Sworn to Certificate of a most Remarkable Cure of Spermatorrhoea. A desire to benefit suffering humanity. and a feeling of gratitude to Dr. W. K. DOHERTY, induces me to make this statement. For many years I have been afflicted with Spermatorrhoea, the result Of self abuse, but till 1855 experienced but little trouble or inconvenience; in that year I had Seminal Weakness to a fearful extent, which was followed by alarming symptoms, such as weakness ofthe back and limbs, dimness of vieion, nervousness, etc. My mind, too, was affected to such an extent as to seriously impair my memory; my ideas were confused and spirits reesed, I was . averse to society, had evil forebodings and self-distrnat, and was entirely unfitted for anv duties of life. From 1855 to the summer of 1863, T employed the very best’ medical talent I could find, but in no instance obtained more than temporary relief. I had about cone!nded there waeno relieffor me in this world, but ° reading Dr. Doherty’s advertisement, I determined to try him, though I did not expect much_— benefit from his treatment. On the 5th of’ December last. I placed myself under his care ; in one week I found myself very much imreved, and now, after five weeks’ treatment, Fieel myself thoroughly cured of all my troubles,an@ in the enjoyment of the best of health. Hoping that.my experience may be of benefit to others similarly afflicted. I subscribe my-self, JAMES JOHNSTON.
