June, A. D. 1883, in the above entitled action, wherein HORACE F, PAGE, the above
named Plaintiff, on the 27th day of June, A.
D, 1883, recovered a Judgment against FORTUNA GOLD MINING COMPANY Defend
ant, forthe sum of Seven Hundred and Five
and 58-100 ($705.63) Dollars, damages, with
interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum from the 27th day of June, A. D. 1833,
till paid, together with-costs of suit taxed at
$29.25 and disbursements at the date of said
Judgment, and accruing costs amounting vo
the sum ot $2.50, I have levied upon and taken into execution all the right, tile and
interest which the said Defenvant Fortuna
Gold Mining Company, had on the 28th day
of June, A. D, 1883, the day on which said
levy was made, or which it may have subse—— acquired, inand to the hereinafter
lescribed property, situate, lying and being
in the township of Nevada, County of Nevada, State of California, stanaing of record in
the office of the County Recorder of the
County of Nevada, State of Caiifornia, in
the name of Fortuna Gold Miiiing’*Com
pany, and bounded and desscri as fol
iows, to-wit:
All and singular those two certain quartz
ledges situated aboutfone-fourth of a mile
southerly of the Half Mile House, in Nevada
Township, County of Nevada, State of-California, and inthe easterly and southern pottion of C. Weisenberger’s Ranch, and krown
asthe Perseverance and Live Yankee quartz
ledges. Said “Perseverance” claim commencing ata small pine tree an‘. at a point
on the croppings of the ledge, about twenty
feet North of the Live Yankee blacksmith
shop—said point being marked hy a cedar
post on whichis cut the figure “I ;” thence
extending eight hundred feetin a Westerly
direction toa post marked with the figure
**2;” and from the point of commencement
in an easterly directien seven hundred feet
to a post marked “3.” Also including surface ground three hundred feet in width on
each side of said ledge throughout the whole
fength of said claim, with all dips, spurs
and angles of suid ledge or lode,
Said Live Yankse commencing at a’ point
marked by a post marked by a figure ‘3’
cut onit, standing about two hundred feet
more er less, South Easterly from said post
marked ‘*l" of the Peseverance location ;
thence Westerly, following the line of the)
de seven hundred and fifty feet: again
commencing at said stake marked ‘3;”
thence Fasterly following the line of the
ledge a distance of seven hundred and fifty
feet including surface ground shree hundred and fifty feet in width on each side of
said ledge throughout its entire length, including alldips, spurs and angles of the
same. Said Pasctarcuar ledge was located
January 3d, 1878, by James Colley, and 1s
recorded in Rook 7, Page 314, Mining Records Nevadacounty, and said Live Yankee
edge was located May 10th, 1277, by C. W
Beedle, J.W. Stephens and R. BE. Robinson
and is recorded in Book 7, Page 67, ainle
Records of Nevada County, together with a
buildings, machinery anl appurtenances
now on said mining claims, belonging, and
in any way spper taining thereto the prop
erty of the said Fortuna Gold Mining Company be sold to satisfy said Judgment, together with interest and costs.
Notice is hereby given that I will sell
at public sale in front of the Court House
door, in the city of Nevada, county of Nevada, State of California, on
Monday, the 234 day of July,
A. D., 1883, between the hours of 9 o'clock
4.M, and 6 o’clock P, M., to-wit; 12 o’clock
M., all the right, title and interest which the
said Defendant Fortuna Gold Mining: Co.
had on the 28th day of June, A. DP. 1883, the
day on which said levy was made, or which
it mav have subsequently acquired, in and
