Republican county convention, is the first gentleman in the field for that or any other office, and now that he has broken the ice we anticipate a grand rush of aspirants. Mr. ‘ Richardson, by the way, is an old resident of Nevada county and one of our staunchest Republicans, He is full of energy, is intelligent, and would in every way make a firatclass Sheriff, : nn .
