The proof required of citizenship, in.erder to be registered, is only demanded once, and ever after the citizen is entitled to vate without, evrellment on the preciuet poll list, or the Assessor's roll. The Great Register is a permanent record “of citizenship, while the poll lists are only temporary. Every citizen, beth native and naturalized, should have his: name ‘entered upon the Great Register.
