Ricw SPectuixs.—a iew days since we noticed the rich claims of Woolsey and others at Brandy Flat in this county. We, yesterday, saw at the National Exchange Hotel specimens which surpass in richness anything we have ever seen. There are lumps of blue cement as large as a man’s head filled with pieces of gold many of them as large as 8 pigeon’s egg. For hours yesterday a crowd stood gazing at the treasure. Among the specimens is one of puré gold bursting out from the centre of a crust of crystalized It looks very much as though it had been the setting of a jeweler. The claiine_ from which these specimens were taken could have been boaght a few monthe ago for a few hundred dollars. They are now worth thoutands. The lumps of gold are as large and numerous that a man could knife. oS Tue Rice To-vay.—ihe sport_at the Glenbrook Park commences to-day andthe first race will be one of the best two miley races that ever came off in the State The purse offered by the proprietor of the track ig $300. A large and comfortable stand has been erected for the accominodution of ladies, away from the dust and disorder. Everybody should see the race between “Pilot” and “Sweetwater” today.
