There are lumps of blue cement as large as a man’s head filled with pieces of gold many of them as large as 8 pigeon’s egg. For hours yesterday a crowd stood gazing at the treasure. Among the specimens is one of puré gold bursting out from the centre of a crust of crystalized It looks very much as though it had been the setting of a jeweler. The claiine_ from which these specimens were taken could have been boaght a few monthe ago for a few hundred dollars. They are now worth thoutands.
