The cause of it is simply this: Shartlef & Jamicson Opened, @ new grocery store and determined to do a strictly cash business, and therefore they could sell very low down. The people have found out they do not pay for bad bills (as is too often the case in every community) if they get their goods of Shurtleff & Jamicéon, at the jumetion of Main and Coyote streets. Those who doubt the fact have only to go down to their store and be convinced of it. They desire to sell off articles in their line as fast as possible, so as to be in constant receipt of fresh goods, and they are doing it pretty successfully.
